The British School Al Khubairat

The British School Al Khubairat is one of the most established and prestigious schools in the Middle East. Now in our 50th year, we have a long and celebrated tradition for excellence in Teaching and Learning.

The main purpose of this Teaching for Learning website is for staff to have a go-to place for current thinking and research about teaching and about learning. The availability of information online has exploded in recent years, but searching for research and readings is a time consuming business, so we hope that this site offers a speedy way of accessing relevant and thought provoking information.

The secondary purpose is to instigate Action Research projects within and between classrooms at BSAK. Through developing a culture of continuously putting research into practice, and then sharing these findings, and refining our practice, we can continue to provide BSAK students with world-class Teaching and Learning.
