What is DyKnow?

DyKnow is an online tool which in its most basic form allows teachers to monitor student devices. More advanced features include the ability set check understanding, set questions and send messages to students.

Before we begin using DyKnow, it is important to note:

• Your teaching classes should automatically be added. In some cases where groups are shared classes may be missing from your homepage. If any classes are missing please contact IT Support via email. Alternatively, teachers can choose to add a new custom class themselves.

• DyKnow only monitors student's Chrome tabs. So you will only be able to see what they are doing on Google Chrome.

• DyKnow will only record internet browsing history during sessions you are monitoring and not outside of these monitoring periods.

• We have set a start time and end time for DyKnow so that student's can only be monitored during school hours.
